We all scream for ice cream

Woo Hoo! It is Friday, that means Ritter's walk day at work. Every Friday we take the summer camp kids on 4 mile walk (round trip) to Ritters, an ice cream place that is super rich, but super yummy. The kids all think it is the coolest thing. This week we have three cuties who are the sons of some WSU athletics coaches, so they are a barrell of laughs and energy to begin with. The three boys brought their razor scooters in for the trek to ice cream heaven. All went well, meaning no one was hit by a car and not too many bumps and bruises. :-) We safely made to Ritters where we ran into a field trip of 20 Kinder Care kids screaming for ice cream, woo thank goodness we only had crazy boys. They played on the playground to pass the time. The 3 ordered worms and dirt, crushed oreo and gummie worms, and I think more landed on their clothes than in their mouths. On the walk/scooter back they did great, only one piggy back ride was needed to get the crew back to YFA safely.

Jake showing off his wormy ice cream!
Did any make it into his mouth?
Saving some oreo crunch for lunchtime

We tell our parents to invest in some quality detergent for days like these, did I mention we also did a craft with Glitter Glue! a washing machine's best friend, hehe!
Tonight Adam and I were invited, short notice, to a WSU ortho and MD's cookout, so a little PR adventure this evening and then some rest before cleaning day on Saturday.
