Excited or Scared?

Oh Camden....

So I dont think Camden slept that much today and I put her down for a short nap (a little later than usual) at about 530pm and its now nearly 730pm. Since her normal bedtime is about 745pm I am totally excited to have an evening to myself, however I am terrified to think that she may just wake up at 2am ready to play and totally energized!

As my mom as told me many many times "Never wake a sleeping baby" I will take her advise, but if this turns out to be a party at the Horseman house at midnight, I am calling you mom, haha!

Wish me luck, the babe must be super sleepy to skip out on her yummy baby food dinner and her bedtime bottle!

Blowing Bubbles
Mommy Mode: Sunscreen is a must, especially when you dont have a ton of hair!

Swimming with Grandma! Camden was so excited

Hanging out with Grandpa is the Best!

On the plane to FL checking out the company on the flight

Last week Camden and I went to my hometown, Gainesville, FL!
Home Sweet Home, it was so great to be home again, I miss my family and Gville dearly. My mom and dad were just elated to see Camden. She has grown so much in the last three months and I know they couldnt wait to see her. I had a wonderful trip and I owe that to my family, just speding time with them and sharing Camden with them was great. I went swimming every day I was home and definitely did not want to leave. Unfortunately Adam couldnt make it this time because he was his annual NATA confrence for work. Camden had a blast and adjusted perfectly. She went swimming quite a few times and is quickly becoming a fish in the water! My dad wa prepared for Camden's lazy days in the pool with a super cute frog/palm tree floaty.
The pictures are adorable... Thanks again to steph for being the photographer for the weekend.

Urban Meyer Watch OUT!

UF Womens Football Camp !
Steph, my sister, ready for action!

I thought these CORE VALUES were hilarious, just take some time to read through the list. Reminds me of a Kindergarten classroom's set of rules... haha

Awww Tim Tebow!

Steph and her two friends, Elise and Lauren, they adopted me into their group after mom had a run in with her hamstring.

The Stopka's are descending on UF Women's Football Camp... Run for your lives!
Last Saturday, during my awesome trip to Florida to see the family, well for the family to see Camden, I went to Football camp with my mom , sister and whole guantlet of their friends. It was a fabulous time full of unexpected surprises, tribulations, triumphs and some fun too! Urban, the head coach of the 3 time National Champ Gators Football Team was a great sport as he was mobbed by the 850 women who participated in the camp. The camp is really the brain child or the UF defensive coord. Charlie Strong. He was a fabulous host and if you know my mother, you would have expected what's next. So at Football camp the morning session is for pics, autographs, meeting the coaches, some players, learning about football and getting pumped up for the upcoming season. The afternoon is for some real action on the field of the Swamp. Let me preface this a bit, my mom has been to FB camp for the last 4 years and knows most of the coaches through her job at UF anyway....

Professor Spandex as she has been so lovingly nicknamed by Coach Strong was a kid in a candy store. Pigtails ready and spandex tightly wrapped! My mom was ready for action. Before the drills even started my mom thought the directions were a little to boring so she thought some fun kart-wheel action would liven up the mood. On her 4th one .... TRAGEDY ! She landed and could NOT walk!!! OMG (for the sake of my diverse audience I will not repeat the exact words that were spoken) she pulled her hamstring trying to pose mid air at her friends request for a picture, soooo technically all the drama wasnt her fault. To make a long story short... she was then interviewed by two major newspapers on her injury and Prof Spandex look, went to the training room for some icing and range of motion testing, ended up being the assistant to the coaches for a number of drills and definetly showed all of us that its ok to have fun but never do it someone elses term,... ie pose mid air upside down for friends! haha!
All in all mom was fine, a little rehab in our pool at home and some Camden time and she was good to go for a day full on lawn mowing on Sunday. Truly, I had an awesome time, I cant wait for next year!

Stephs trip in a nut shell

Stephanie's Trip to OH was awesome, she took a bunch of great pictures and video, enjoy.

Oh Course: The Star of the Show

It was a hair pulling good time... literally

The similarity is scary

Right after a bath... Mohawk time, enjoy it, because its the only time you will have one Camden

Naked baby pictures! Almost as good as the Naked Baby Dance! haha
Turtle baby!
First Stage 1 baby foods, the one time I am happy to have 2 dogs that love leftovers

Here we are at BD's Mongolian BBQ and Camden decided to go on a razzing raid, she loudly razzed and spit for at least half of dinner, like I said Star of the Show

We had a great time with steph up here in Ohio, frankly we got pretty used to having someone always around to help. It was so helpful and we couldnt have asked for anything better, except for her to stay longer. Adam and really appreciated all the help and company.. Thanks Stephanie, you are welcome to come anytime. After her stint at the Horse household she made her way to UC for the summer surgery experience program where she got to scrub in on 2 surgeries ( unheard of for even 2nd yr med students and she is still an undergrad) She learned OH isnt all that bad, except for the allergies and then managed to score the highest on her program test and win a Pediatric Stethescope!(spelling?)

After 2 weeks at UC she added it to her Med School Apps as a school of choice, oh and UK but thats a different story... haha
So maybe we will get our helpful Aunt Steph back in OH before too long.
Enjoy some fun shots steph took during her trip

Steph's visit

Peanut and her Aunt Stephanie
So Cute!

My sister Stephanie from Florida has been visiting for the last 2 weeks. Hence no time for blogging. She has been an amazing help with Camden and the dogs. It has been an absolute dream having her here with us in Ohio and we are sad to see her leave. But she is only going to Cincy! Steph will be in Cincy for a surgery clinic for pre-med students all around the nation and then finally heading back to the great sunny state of Florida on June 19, the sametime camden and I go down for a visit with the rest of the family.

Pics galore areon their way, I think steph has taken about 1000 since she has been here, thankfully someone takes pictures because I am a photo slacker.

On a different note, our good friends the Bradfords, bradford8.blogspot.com are having a c- section at this moment. We wish them the best of luck and cant wait to welcome baby bradford into the world! You are in our prayers Bradford Family!

I get teary eyed just thinking Adam and I were having Camden just a little over 6 short months ago and how nervous, excited and just overwhelmed with every emotion we were.
