Stardate 4 to 5 months

The title is for my mom ( she tolerates Star Trek... hehe!)

Anyway here are some fun pics of Camden over the last couple of weeks. Camden has been a busy baby, she rolled over for the first time a week or so ago - back to belly- and she now eats cereal. Cereal is in her bottle, not the bowl quite yet, you will see why below!

Here Camden is sporting the world famous ball hat style that all the babies are doing these days. really her daddy is getting her ready for the golf course with the Titleist has

I tip my cap to you! haha! She is getting such a personality!

Cereal 101 for Camden: This picture is before her first cereal feeding experience. She is happy with not a care in the world... right

SO clean and in her PJs
Cereal everywhere! the picture doesnt do it justice, cereal is everywhere! all over her outfit, face, arm... everywhere. She ended up getting so much on her sleeve that she would suck her sleeve as went back for another spoonful and then she would get so upset when I moved her arm to give her another spoonful.. like she thought" Oh cool my arm makes food"

Wild baby, the wet spot was a quarter size spit mark and of course I went in with a soaked wash cloth to clean up the spit up and instead soaked her shirt!

Here is our surfing baby playing on her tummy in her pack and play so Mellow and Mongo dont mistaken her for a doormat or a toy

Hilarious! Camden was sound asleep and I went in to check on her and this is what found. She apparently likes to sleep with her legs propped up! Who knew.

yes still sound asleep

Oh the peanut is getting so big!

Super Finds

Saturday Camden and I went to a kids equipment sale at our church and we hit the jackpot! I had been planning on going for last month and had held off on buying any new toys or outfits for camden until i had the chance to rummage through the church sale. Boy am I glad I waited! Just pulling into the parking lot, I caught the Bradfords on their way out with a bag full of goodies and only a couple bucks spent... Good vibes in the parking lot, thats what I am talking about. Right when i got there I immediately saw and exer saucer for Anna Maria's house and grabbed it, I then spent the next hour perusing everything from shoes, hats , books and toys. I ended up buying about 7 great toys, 6 books 2 nighties, one outfit a hat and only spent 20 bucks!

Go Katie and Camden

Funny or Sad -- The entire time I kept thinking " WOW, Dave Ramsey would be so proud!

Enjoy the day!

My little man is growing up

Oh my little man is just growing up... sigh ... Mongo that is actually lifted his leg to use the restroom today! WOW it only took the poor dog over a year and a half to figure it out. I was corralling the dogs back inside this afternoon because the weather was so lovely(sarcasm - the weather was disgusting, 35 degrees and sleet) outside and I look over and what do you know good ole Mongo is actually lifting his leg like a real boy dog instead of just following Mellows lead and squatting. Another bit of news, Mellow officially turned 6 yesterday... Happy Birthday Mellie!

Coming Soon:
Camden's first cearal feeding pictures Yummy! and more fun pics.

What a day so far!

Good morning all. What a morning so far... I have to leave to drop off Camden and be at work in about 15 minutes. I still have to load her up, pack the milk and oh PUMP ok so I am going to be late. Before you say 'hey lady, wake up earlier' I was up and going with and hour and a half before I needed to leave and the baby was still sleeping. So where did an hour or so go? Lets see I showered dressed blah blah blah then Camden woke up, got her dressed, warmed the bottle, started eating, went to burp her and BAM, Exorcist child, fountain of milk EVERYWHERE. On the couch, on the blanket, all over me (remind you I am freshly showered and dressed for work ie. nice clothes) all over her. At least mongo helped by licking up the puddle of puked milk between my legs so not to stain the couch anymore than it already had... Thanks Mongo! The best part 4 oz of breastmilk... gone. I then run through the house, set her on the changing table, I stripped and changed, threw in a load of laundry, got her situated and we are now pumping away, Camden is in her bouncy seat chewing on a washcloth because i am not about to risk another milk volcano! I wish gma and gpa good luck with her today. phew what a day and its only 815am!

What will I wish for?

Hello Blog Nation !!!

Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, Happy birthday to meeeeee, happy birthday to me!

Today, March 30th, I am a whopping 24 years old! I dont have a lot planned with it being a Monday and all, but tomorrow night Adam and I are going over to Adam's gma's for her world famous chicken and dumplings to celebrate my birthday with the family.

This weekend was fun, we had lunch with the bradford's at Noodles and Co. a new place at the Greene. I had never eaten there before and I was pretty pleased. I got the small portion and a salad of on of the italian inspired dishes. Next time I will go for the spicy asian dish and regular size. Last night we were invited to a steak dinner with the WSU baseball coach and team where we had a great meal and lots of fun conversation with the coaching staff ( most of the players just ate and ran.. you know how college boys are). The meal was great and we even took home a few leftovers, Ok mmore like a full plate of mac and cheese and about 5 lbs of steak.. Well at least I dont have to make dinner tonight :-)
Camden has fully recovered from her 4 month appt and her second set of shots, (and so has mom, watching her get those shots just kills me). Camden has been a giggle monster all weekend and she is really starting to play back at Adam and I when we talk and carry on with her... the next few months are going to be awesome.

By the way is Spring here yet?

"So I got bored..."

During my trip to Florida last weekend, Adam sends me an email with the subject "So I got bored" My first gut reaction, Oh no what did he do with the dogs.... just kidding. Earlier in the month we had discussed extending our patio off the back of the house with pavers and making it a fire pit area with some flower beds to mask the dead areas of the the yard where the dogs run in and out day after day. Well Adam did it... no notice, nothing! WOW what an amazing surprise I could not be happier witht he results. I felt like i was on a TV show like "While you were out" or something. Adam started on Friday evening after I left, worked Sat and Sunday with the help of Jason Bradford and Jason Franklin and Adam's mom and grandma (the ladies tended to the front yard landscaping) !!! I cant thank everyone enough and I am so thrilled with the outcome! Thank You Adam and Jason and Jason. (J. Horse Productions)
The firepit is even buried down in the ground in the center of the patio as you see here, please excuse Mongo 'christening' the beds

So Awesome!

Thanks again for a wondreful earlier birthday surprise! Its awesome and I cant wait to use it!
Love you Adam
